瀝青塊屬於石油煉製工業所供應的煉製柏油製成，可用於產製各種瀝青混凝土，供應鋪設道路用。加入溶劑者稱為油溶或塗料柏油，主要做為路面黏、透層或產製冷鋪瀝青混凝土，供應路面修護用途。也可用於各類建物或設備的防水與防蝕用途。
